The winners of the call OPEN///CONTEMPORARY [URBAN] CREATION 2020
MMM Collective and Marilyne Grimmer are the winners of the OPEN ///CONTEMPORARY [URBAN] CREATION call, which since 2012 supports artists working in the field of experimentation and research of new artistic contemporary languages.
The winning projects of the 9th edition of the call employ a wide variety of artistic expressions: the focus is the urban space, the redefinition and reuse of city spaces, but also unprecedented approaches to involve the community for a relationship between spaces and citizens, pass through the prism of art.
The commission, composed by Lisa Gilardino (external member) and by Carla Esperanza Tommasini (Pergine Festival), Chiara Organtini (Indisciplinarte), Michele Losi (Il Giardino delle Esperidi Festival), Serena Terranova (Periferico Festival), Valentina Kastlunger (Zona K) has examined the over 260 proposals from all over the world, selecting two projects: one new production and one presentation.
