    Press conference of the 42nd edition of Festival Pergine Spettacolo Aperto

    The 42nd Pergine Spettacolo Aperto edition, a festival recognised with the EFFE label as one of the most interesting cultural festivals in Europe, will focus on, beyond stereotypes, one of the most controversial issues debated today: gender identity. Among the various projects presented this year, Giuliana Musso’s new work (the only scheduled date), a New Festival Production MALE-FEMALE / A role-play for males and females by the Croatian company Bacaci Sjenki (Shadow Casters) directed by Boris Bakal, the open source Art Body swap project of the international group of researchers BeAnotherLab and the works of Compagnia Atopos, Tindaro Granata, Nina’s Drag Queens and much more.

     

    On Thursday, June 15 at 10.30 am in the press room of Palazzo Festi (Teatro Sociale) in Trento, the program of the 2017 edition of the festival will be unveiled.
    Institutional guests and festival staff present at the press conference: Claudia Battisti (Cultural Activities Service of the Autonomous Province of Trento), Roberto Oss Emer (Mayor of Pergine) and Elisa Bortolamedi (Councilor for Culture and Education in Pergine), Michele Andreaus (Vice President of Pergine Spettacolo Aperto Association), Stefano Ravelli (President of the Tourism Board Valsugana Lagorai-Terme-Laghi), Cristina Pietrantonio and Carla Esperanza Tommasini (artistic co-directors of the Festival).
