Poetica is a “humanographic” map of Italian villages, a journey to discover the places that once represented the typical landscape of the Italian province.

Through the words of poet and landscape architect Franco Arminio, mythological and popular characters come back to life, figures whose memory still emerges in the speeches of those who have remained to live in those places.
Don’t just float,
go down to the bottom
even at the risk of drowning.
Smile at this humanity
that tangles up on itself.
Give way to the trees.
