The SUPERNOVA CALL is back: online the form
The SUPERNOVA 2022 call for proposals is online: a call dedicated to italian performing arts productions (theater, dance and / or interdisciplinary projects) that are designed for a theater / closed space.
Supernova aims at supporting shows and performances that investigate contemporary issues through original dramaturgies and new scenic languages. Supernova pays particular attention to national shows dedicated to research and theatrical experimentation. Supernova is an invitation to investigate new perspectives. Supernova is aimed at artists (individuals, companies or collectives) who operate in Italy in the field of theater, dance and performing arts.
The selected shows / performances will be hosted during the 47th edition of the Pergine Festival. Considering the peculiarities of the space, the artists / companies will have to adapt their show to the technical requirements of the former Rimessa Carrozze , the historic venue of the festival (tech sheet). The shows / performances will be evaluated by the artistic direction of the festival: only the selected artists will be contacted personally by 12 January 2022.
REQUIREMENTS: The invitation to participate is aimed at individuals or companies working in the theater and performing arts fields, operating on the Italian territory.
Shows considered must be:
– able to investigate new scenic and dramaturgical languages, devoted to research and theatrical experimentation;
– both original / unpublished and works that have already debuted / circulated (but not in our Region Trentino-Alto Adige);
– adaptable from a technical point of view to the Ex Rimessa Carrozze venue.
DEADLINE: The application must be sent no later than midnight of 01st December 2021
APPLICATION: fill in all the fields on the form online: no other forms of application are allowed (pay attention: the form is in italian due to the character of the call).
FINAL SELECTION: considering the high number of applications received annually, only the representative of the selected shows will be contacted personally by the artistic director of Pergine Festival (within and no later than 12 January 2022). Please do not contact the Admin office for information about the progress of the evaluation.
