Dante Antonelli | To burn or not to burn

To Burn Or Not To Burn, a masterclass led by Dante Antonelli, is a space for investigation, scenic creation and performance practice. It is a space for developing encounters, opening up to new ideas and gaining awareness. A space for approaching stage writing and actor’s dramaturgy. In the wake of the Mishima Project, the masterclass To Burn Or Not To Burn tackles the work of performance practice on Yukio Mishima’s novel The Golden Pavilion and William Shakespeare’s Hamlet.

    Dynamis | Bruta

Bruta, a masterclass by theatre collective Dynamis, analyses the human and animal environment, proposing the crossing of the invisible, naked, exclusive limit that characterises the two worlds. A practical and theoretical work on the contaminations between thought and lived life, in search of a transversal look through unknowable worlds. Through the languages of theatre and performance, the training proposal concentrates on education to awareness of one’s own physical and mental being and on the creation of an alphabet and a personal performing language, able to dialogue with the surrounding environment.

Effetto Larsen | Aprire le porte

Aprire le porte, Effetto Larsen’s masterclass led by Matteo Lanfranchi, guides participants step by step in planning performances, imagining their development and production, and presenting them effectively. Using an open approach to dialogue and active confrontation, the aim is to lead the participating artists to develop a greater awareness in the use of practices related to site-specific and participatory art. From conceptualisation, adaptation to the context, from project development to pitching.
