WINNING TEXT OF THE HYSTRIO STAGE WRITING AWARD 2022

Ugo Pagliai gives voice to a young playwright’s text. Babilonia Teatri edits a stage reading that wants to be a meeting among theater generations, tradition and innovation, and languages. Summer landscape with a tawny owl listening by Matteo Caniglia is the winning text of the Hystrio stage writing award 2022. A father and his son leave the house and walk in the forest. The boy draws birds which his father describes to him. Together they hear the song. They are lost, they seek, they struggle.
